DIARY OF MY FACIAL PEEL WITH THE PEELING SET

Day One
Very apprehensive! I have tried facial peeling once, a long time ago with my Dermatologist and it was just one of the consults, nothing memorable about it. But this is the first time that I’m going to try it on my own! I read the directions over and over, trying to envision myself doing the process step by step. What if I put too much oil, will my skin burn? And if I put too little, the peeling might take weeks instead of just 3 days. I washed my face thoroughly with the Facial Cleanser and put 5-6 drops of oil on the cotton ball, applied the oil on my face with a single, upward stroke. I started with my problem area right below the cheek and the chin where the pigmentation is uneven. . I even used a timer for the 10 minute break in between the 3 consecutive applications. I felt nothing, no sting, no hot sensation. I wonder if I’m doing it right.

Day Two
I’m off to my second day. Still felt no remarkable sensation when I applied the oil. But a few hours after my application, I noticed my face red was a little red than normal. Not Ferrari-red, but more of a mild sunburn kind of color. It’s actually more tan than red. And I did feel a little sting now and then, not much, barely noticeable even. I see no peeling on my skin yet. I stopped using most of my other night regimens such as the Clarifying Lotion, and Eye cream.

Day Three
With renewed confidence and no fear I settled down and applied the product again. Still no pain. But I did notice that my skin looked smoother, as if it had been stretched (this is flaking). And it also has a shine that looks as if there was a thin plastic over it. I put on a good amount of Sunblock gel (SPF30), this is my only regimen that stayed on.

Day Four
There is definitely a sting, tolerable but there nonetheless. I also felt a hot sensation over my face during the application. Blackhead removal in the facial spa was much more painful than this though. Nothing to worry about. My face started to peel, on the chin and around the mouth area first. I don’t remember putting more oil there but I know it’s the driest area of my face. The Collagen and Elastin cream soothed my flushed skin.

Day Five
Morning: My final day of applying the peeling product. Soon the fun would begin. My face is unmistakably peeling, and sunburnt red. I didn’t apply oil all over my face anymore because it stings a lot, just on the areas with no signs of peeling. I am very excited to see the final effect.

Evening: I washed my face with the Derma Facial Scrub and the peeling skin was easily removed. This is a good thing, I don’t want my face to look like it’s falling off on top of the redness. The peeling is not complete yet, I’m still waiting for the rest of my old skin to go.

Day Six
Things are really beginning to happen albeit not as fast as I want it to. My face has become lobster-red, so I applied Hydrocortisone cream which helped clear the redness.

Day Seven
I'm beginning to get impatient for the skin to look better. My skin feels stretched and still has some ”debris” left.

Day Eight
Light at the end of the tunnel. The skin on my cheeks looks clear and smooth and feels really soft. Hmmm! I think that I am going to be really impressed.

Day Nine
It's all over. My skin looks wonderful and clear. It feels really re-hydrated and supple. The skin on my chin and cheek are also even now. Looks like I’m wearing a foundation even when I’m not. I'M IMPRESSED.
