It is not possible to completely remove stretchmarks because they are essentially small scars of torn skin. It is possible, however, for the ridges to smooth out and the associated redness or whiteness to fade to the point that they are hardly visible.
Steps for applicaton:
1. Wash your hands and affected skin area thoroughly with mild, bland soap (not medicated or abrasive soap or soap that dries the skin) and water. To be sure that your skin is thoroughly dry, wait 20-30 minutes before applying the cream.
2. Use clean fingertips, apply the medication in a circular motion. Massage for several minutes for better absorption.
3. Apply sparingly at night time.
What to expect
Mild flaking for the first few weeks. Use a mild body scrub during bath time to reduce the flaking.
After washing in the morning, apply moisturizer. The moisturizer will make the drying effect of the medicine more tolerable.
